St.Nicholas Primary CE School, Hurst

 

 

 

The current school was built in 1843 at a cost of £783 13s 10d.

 

 

The Boys' School at the foot of Church Hill was last used on 21st July 1949.

 

 

Tape Lane (formerly Nocotts Road) - the white house at the end of the row was used as Hurst and Ruscombe National School when it was founded in 1818 until moving to the current site in 1843.
